Why did the Asari family trade their city center apartment for Viimsi Laaneserva?

On the beautiful Viimsi peninsula next to the capital, the idyllic Laaneserva residential area hides in the gentle embrace of tall ancient pines. It could even be argued that it is like Estonia’s own Bullerby. The terraced houses are located in a pleasantly peaceful area, surrounded by beautiful walking and sports trails and the seashore, but just a short walk away, you can immerse yourself in the lively hustle and bustle of Viimsi. It was this set that attracted the Asarid family from the city centre to the West Edge.
Previously, Heleen Asari and her family lived in the Maakri district in the city centre, where the location of the apartment was a great advantage. “We were primarily motivated to think about moving by the addition of a family and the desire to move to an environment where the same downtown amenities would be available, but in a slightly calmer way. We longed for closeness to nature, cleaner air, silence and the feeling of our own house,” says Heleen. So he and his family moved to a terraced house in Viimsi.
